when will puppy be full grown?

I have a puppy that is a lab mix.  When he was younger he looked mostly like a lab, now, not so much.  Anyways, I was wondering around what age he will stop growing.  He is 7 months and 30lbs right now.   Does anyone have any guesses as to how old he will be when he plateaus out with the growth?  He seems to have slowed down lately.

With my moms Golden, she was done growing around 13-16 months old, but she continued to fill out until about 2 years of age.

Lizzie is 7 months old right now and weighing about 30 pounds give or take, but she is still quite small, and Im guessing she still has a lot of growing to do, she looks like an overgrown Sheltie at this point [8D]

But the thing to remember is this: Most dogs (except for giant breeds) finish growing height wise very quickly. After that first year is when they begin to fill out and muscle out, and lose that cute and lanky puppy look

I would have thought that by 6 or 7 months, except for giant breeds, they would be almost to max height.  That was true of both Kota and Tasha when I got them.  They hit their height right around 6 to 7 months.  Then it was just filling out from there.  But I only have those two dogs to go on.

I don't think Max has grown since he was around a year old. He's (I think) a lab/GSD/? mix.  Maybe some breeds reach their adult size faster than others.

    Lizzie:

Wings did the overgrown sheltie thing too for quite a wihle- it wasn't until the last month or two that she really started to look like an actual collie. She was 20 months old when she died.

Different breeds have different growth spurts.

My malamute has just gone through another growth spurt in height and filling out, he will be 3 at the end of the year. We thought he had finished growing 12 months ago and would just fill out, but aparrently not. I was told usually by 12 months they wont grow any more in height, but he has gone through a late grow spurt and proved alot of people wrong in doing so.

It really comes down to the breed and the dog I think.
