"Error saving to disk"--Anyone else get this?

I can't even upload a smiley. I have all the profile stuff figured out, I can use the smilies that are here, but I can't put anything over the airwaves TO the forum.

Every time I try to upload I get, instead of "upload successful", an error that goes "Error Saving to Disk"

Which is why I don't have a single picture associated with my account yet!

Result:
There was an error saving the file to disk.

That's the exact message I get when I try to upload, even something tiny teeny weeny.

Okay, I have solved the problem. That's the good news!

This board doesn't support a MAJOR browser: Safari.

Joel, you ought to look into this, there are plenty of Mac users out there with this as the default browser. It would be nice to know if this board supports Opera or Foxfire or what other browsers it does work with.

MAC USERS: If you usually use Safari, you will have to use Internet Exploder to see the dog.com forum, and especially to be able to upload files. [:'(]

I just uploaded this smiley, using Firefox and it worked. I have a PC, though.

It would be great if people have trouble uploading to check which browser they are using. Opera is a great browser, but often overlooked by site programmers. Anyone (Mac or PC--doesn't matter) using Opera?

(And Dawn, glad you like your PC. I'm very glad I have a Mac!)
