newbie!

• newbie! willgroom4chocolate Posted : 8/30/2006 6:02:33 PM I bought products from dog.com, and found this forum!  I read a lot of it before I joined, and was amazed at how many truly informative people there are on it!    About me:  A genuine "dog-nut," I have a big interest in dog grooming, and I would like to start my own grooming buisness in the future.  I have completed 4 yrs. in the 4-H dog program doing obedience/showmanship, and am currently helping my leaders to purchase/construct agility equipment.  I am a junior member of the Australian Terrier Club of America, and I just competed in my first AKC show a few weeks ago with my Australian Terrier, Wally, who is a rescue dog I have owned for 2 yrs.  Sometime next year I hope to certify my mixed-breed, Maisy, and myself to become a READ team at my local library.  Bertie and Mikey (mixes) are also beginning 4-H dogs.  All three mixes are cocker/aussie shepherd/border collie crosses.  I also have a 1 yr. old AKC GSP whom I bottle-fed from 4 days (mother dog - who was owned by friends - died of bowel obstruction, after swallowing ieces of string and chunks of a kiddy-pool).  Right now I am pressing to find more ways to keep my silly and intelligent dogs healthy and entertained.  This forum looks like a great place to find info on just about anything I would ever have questions about, and more![]         LIKE 10 REPLIES 372 VIEWS LAST POST WILLGROOM4CHOCOLATE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
