Do you have fun at the "expense" of your pets?

Do you have fun at the "expense" of your pets?

    First - TGIF!

Second - do any of you have fun at the expense of your poor dog's pride?  Oh, my poor pets.

Last night, Molly (smaller dog) was lying on the couch with me and my boyfriend with her tummy exposed.  I thought it was the perfect opportunity to blow raspberries on her tummy (like you would with a little kid).  I kept doing it over and over and laughing outrageously louder each time.  She just kept looking at me like I was a lunatic.  [sm=crazy.gif]

Then this morning, my boyfriend mentioned how excited he was for college football to really get started.  So I folded our stadium blanket and put it over Bogey's back and marched back and forth in the living room (knowing he would follow me) singing our college team's fight song at the top of my lungs.  Bogey was a wonderful mascot!  My neighbors must have heard me and thought I had had an early-morning martini.  [sm=lol.gif]

Oh please - there are times that my dog is my only source of entertainment! I've often wonder what in the world we did for laughs before Abby came into our lives!

Lately she just wants to talk to us... It started with me teaching her to say "Mama" - now she just talks and talks. I just roll on the floor in tears!

    She smiles a LOT too!

Awww, isn't she a sweetheart!  My sister's name is Abby.  She'd be happy to see that you spell it the "right" way, too.  :-)

Yes, I've often wondered what we would do for entertainment without our dogs - and Animal Planet.  I swear, we're such animal nerds...  [8|]

I work in a pet food & treat bakery, so I work with animals all day.  After work the other day I came home, took my Molly to the dog park for another dog's birthday, then came home and took Bogey for a walk, then came home and watched a little animal planet, then went in the bedroom to read the dog forums.  I decided then and there that I needed to get out more for a little more "HUMAN" interaction.  [sm=lol.gif]

    Ahw cute Abby
Yep I do the boogie woogie dance [sm=dance.gif]with my dog Maddy he looks like he is enjoying it, then I end up rolling around on the ground laughing[:D][:D][:D] with him jumping all over me with excitement, I am in my Thirties and still like to do silly things with my dogs, my family think I am nuts
I used to have a collie, when I came home from work I would run from the kitchen to my mums bedroom and somersualt on the bed and she would chase me and jump on the bed after me, than I'd run out of bedroom and hide behind another bedroom door, she would be looking for me and then I would jump out and say RAH at her and she would run the other way, I would hide somewhere else and she would come back to do it allover again this would go on for ages, I was in my early twenties than, she was a terriffic dog. Hmm no wonder I still don't have any children!!!!

Yes we have fun at the expense of our pets. Bubbles and Shannara are a great source of entertainment when they are zooming around the house. They are funnier than watching tv plus it is all improvised. There are hardly ever any re-runs.

My husband convinced me to keep Static (Our new stray kitten.) by saying how much he has missed having a kitten and watching their antics. Static has given my kids, husband and myself a constant source of laughter. It is so funny to see him pounce onto nothing

Yesterday, my son got scratched by the kitten. It was an accident, but ever since then, Alex has said that he will never own a cat when he grows up. I said, "What happens when you fall in love with a girl and you want to marry her, but she has a cat?" He thought for a minute and then said, "Okay. Just one though." My husband burst out laughing and said to Alex, "That is what I said a long time ago. Now we have 3."

When I met my boyfriend, he had Bogey already.  In the year and 3 months we've been together, we've added quite a few to our household. We now have:

    2 dogs
    1 cat
3 snakes (two about 4 feet, one about 7 feet)
    2 fifty gallon aquariums
    1 twenty gallon aquarium
    1 one gallon aquarium
    2 hermit crabs

Mind you, this is all in a ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT!

We're known as the petting zoo amongst our friends.  [:D]
