It's been a while since I've been actively involved with my rescue group because I didn't live here for a couple of years. Since I've been back, I've been tryin to get into the swing of things. So far, I've managed to sell a good bit of raffle tickets for our dog show in October, and I haven't even gone out walking around to sell tickets...so by the end of it, I'll probably collect a couple of hundred bucks. Anyway, I just got off of the phone with one of group's heads (and a good friend of mine), and she told me about a 15 month old Chi mom and her 8 week old one-eyed
up who needs a foster home. The mom is being spayed tomorrow and can be picked up Wednesday, and the pup will be picked up then as well. So, I've agreed to foster (of course, I still have to let Brett know...not that he has a say in this lol...honestly, he'll be fine with it) the two if another lady can't keep them. The other potential foster mom has to get her husband to agree to it, and she also has a dog who just went through some kind of leg surgery, so she may not be able to do it. If not, they're mine. Yee! Wish me luck!
