I was going to post this in the health, but I think this area gets more traffic..
Sierra's vaccination schedule has been that every year around september we go for her yearly vaccinations. Included in this, has been Rabies (every 2nd year), Distemper, Hepatitis CAV2, Parinfluenza, Parvo, Coronavirus, and last year we also got Bordetella.
I just got the notice from my vet that she's due soon. I also just found out that a different local vet offers a 3-year dog vaccine... meaning that if I take her this October, she'll get what she needs and doesn't need to return for the next 3 years.
The vet receptionist said that they haven't had any reactions yet, and that the new Rabies vaccine (3 year) is better than the one they were using previously.
Any comments on this?
Would it be better for her?
Also, is the Hepatitis-CAV2 really necessary?
Thanks for the help.
