My house smells like a dog food factory!

I am making those liver treats Glenda posted the recipe for (thanks Glenda!), and my house stinks of liver! I want them for Ben's new training class which starts on Thursday, and just for general training, so I tripled the amounts to make a huge batch. I'm suprised no neighbourhood doggies are howling, I have all the windows and the back door open to air out the house.

Ben is going crazy. I had to stuff a kong with all his favourites to keep him occupied LOL.

Hopefully he'll like them - if not the dogs at the shelter have just hit the motherload!

Ever since Tyler came home in January we've been trying to get him to take treats. He'd have nothing to do with them, and gosh we've offered and offered and offered. Innova health bars, liver treats, junk treats, and he just will not take them. So yesterday on our way HOME after our walk the smell finally got to him and he stuck his head forward to try to get into the bag (he'd been watching Theo scarf the darned things down all along) and by golly HE FINALLY ATE TREATS!!! I've never ever had a dog that wouldn't take treats and he did before he left, so I sure would like to know what happened to him in that house.....

But, yet again, the liver treats won the day! Sorry to go OT, but it wasn't totally OT.........

LMAO I'll try chicken livers next time. I'm not that worried about Ben eating them - he eats anything hehe.

Poor Tyler, he didn't know what he was missing!
