If you turned into a dog?

If you turned into a dog?

If for you turned into dog what breed whould you become?  What is it about that breed that fits your personality so well.

For me, althought I love the hearders I don't see myself as one.  I  require some grooming due to my long hair.  I'm ok with stangers but prefer to be by myself  but get very fustrated when I don't have anyone to talk to and yet I seem to get along with almost everyone.  I'm somewhat short compaired to others around me.  I am ready and willing to learn but do require a little training first.  I question almost everything I do.  I would be a Keeshond.

    Cute thread idea!

I think I would be a shih tzu... I love affection and I like to cuddle and play but you'll sooner find me curled up on the couch than romping out in the fields. I'm smart and easygoing but I can also be a bit stubborn. One thing's for sure, though, you won't find me in a show coat very often! [:D]

Do we have to pick a breed in specific or does mutt count?  I would be a mutt.  If I had to pick a breed I suppose I would be a doberman.

This is a good thread.  I think I'd be a Pharaoh Hound or probably a Cirneco dell Etna.  I'm somewhat aloof and cautious, with my friends I am incredibly tolerant, with those I don't like I will be a bit snappy.  I also try to find interesting solutions to problems and try to out-think my bosses at every level.

Edited to add:  I'm also very very stubborn.

I would be little and sassy. Though if I was a pug I would just sleep alot which suits me now:)

I'd be, without a doubt, an Am Staff.  Gypsy and I are sooo much alike, it's scary! We are friendly to nearly everyone, but keep a sharp eye out for when thing sseem off.  We protect those we love fiercely. We are both amazingly strong (I can pick DH up and carry him and he weighs over 200 lbs!) for our size. We are smart and love to be out with people.  OTOH, we value our quiet time as well.

id be a great dane of course [;)] Intelligent, gorgeous, mellow personality, very laid back most of the time, but loves to get out...(while danes do love their sleep..they are not 100% lazy all of the time..they are actually ;pretty athletic dogs)

I'd be an Anatolian shepherd; smart, independent, careful in new situations, alert, but adaptable. I love the country and I'm happiest if I've got a job to do that I'm completely confident to do all by myself without guidance. That's me, out there in the fields looking after the stupid sheep that can't seem to look after themselves. [;)]

I can't say as I'd be a certain breed, as I honestly don't know what breed I'd be...however, I can say that I'd be exactly like my Tango - eventhough she's a dog, I can easily compare myself to her all the time. We are so much alike, it's unbelievable. I'm active, very willing to please people (I hate to upset people, I can't say no often, etc.), shy around strangers, nervous in new situations, etc. Seriously, it's very hard to explain and I probably sound weird but I can relate to her *so* well...

I think I'd be a Sheltie. I'm reserved with strangers, love to be with those close to me, but ever so slightly independent with almost a cat like quality. I'm a little high strung and frequently filled with a nervous energy. I have both a silly and serious side. I'm kind of timid, but brave at the same time. I have a petite, dainty build and a classic type of beauty. I need some grooming, but my style is mostly casual. The only thing that's different is that I'm not really a yapper. I'd be one of those rare quiet Shelties. [;)]

No doubt in my mind - Australian Shepherd.  Smart, fast, and ready for work, plus a sense of adventure.
