I could. It has ads in the first post on every topic. How annoying.

Crap like this really ticks me off. This person has alot of nerve joining here just to post about that forum.
I guess it takes all kinds.

thats really dumb.."Oh your signed up at this forum, so why not come to mine!"
    • Gold Top Dog
They'd have to go a long, long way to even come close to this forum, much less be better. [:)]

Wow! Tough crowd! And why wouldn't be a good place to find forum members on an exiting forum? lol

Not sure why you couldt open the forum threads - but thanks for the comments anyway.

And there are ads on most forums that are FREE to join - otherwisw who pays for the server, techs, etc?

    Thanks,

Well, this is free to join and I haven't seen one ad yet............ so there.

I would rather stay with an established forum than go to a new one that doesn't have a lot of knowledgeable people (or doesn't have many members at all!).  At least here there are many people who are willing to try to help you and chances are someone has experienced something to help you.

Why would we leave to go to your forum?

Frankly, it's down right rude to the owners of the forum you're advertising on... unless of course you asked and recieved their permission to do so. On top of that, it's simply bad form to do so and you lose credibility (in my eyes anyway) when you do such. That's why I won't even be looking at your forum. Sorry.

Not only is it tacky to go trolling for new members from another already established board, but no WAY would I even click on your link, and I'll tell you why.

I-doggers - a lot of times sites with adverts have hidden spyware, malware, trojans and other nasties attached to the ads that latch on to you even if you never click the ads. Sometimes the people who own the sites aren't even aware of them. I was a frequent visitor to a MMORPG related site who had advertisers on the pages. Unbeknownst to them, the advertisers had planted spyware, and it caused all KINDS of problems. Nope, I wouldn't even click the link provided. If you did, run your spyware checker and anti-virus.

On top of that, who would leave such a great site? I've learned a lot in this active site![:D]
