Do you guys think it's possible...

That Ella could be part Patterdale Terrier?
I came across a patterdale terrier on that "Can you find the pitbull" quiz.
And I thought,"Whoa...that's Ella" I know nothing about the breed and I know she's part pitbull...but what else? heh.

    Here's a patterdale terrier:

    And here's Ella:

    aww!

    What a cutie!

Yours, too, definitely.  Does she have a name other than Ella?  I mean, a middle name or anything?  After we named the Poppet we found out that there was a book written about a yellow lab named Ella Guinevere.  Which, of course, happens to be her name. *rolls eyes*  Since I'm such a dog lover I didn't have too many issues, but my mother-in-law found it strange when I sent her the book. [sm=biggrin.gif]

Chewbecca, my guess would not be patterdale terrier.  They are very small dogs, 8-11 lbs.  Ella, to me, seems to be within APBT breed standard when it comes  to size.

Some pits just have stick up ears, like Ella.  Her face looks very pit bull to me.

    hey you!!
Well, I guess it's more in the eyes that I see it. And I see the pit structure in her face, but her face is smaller, know what I mean?

Oh, and her middle name is "Fitzgerald".

    lol.  Cute name.

How much does she weigh?  She would probably be very small, since patterdales are 8-11 lbs, and pits range from 35-55lbs most commonly (although have been known to range from 22-110!).

IMO, patterdale is out... ears make me think shephard, but... she looks quite pit to me!

ETA:  AND.... she also looks all *love* to me!  (Wish you were closer so we could get these two together!)

    aww!

She is a HEALTHY 60 lbs!
She is ALL muscle. I don't know how she maintains that weight when she doesn't eat much.

    She's my bat baby!
I tell her not to spread her ears and fly away from me.

    lol!

We NEED more photos of her.... pretty please!!!

I'll TRY to remember my camera when I take her out into the "forest" tomorrow for a walk.
I posted some on the pitbull talk forums. Under the "ears" thread.
Oh, by the way, have you heard anything about those other forums?

    Chewbecca,
    I PMd you.

LOL, I don't think she's part Pat, either. I think that the small, hunting terriers resemble Pitties, though. Patterdales are pretty uncommon, and, like alieliza said, they're small.

What she is, though, is GORGEOUS! What a beautiful girl! Wow.

    thank you!
