Catahoula Leopard Hound

• Catahoula Leopard Hound clifford red dog Posted : 11/16/2006 2:34:16 PM Do any of you have a Catahoula Leopard Hound?  I'd love to see pictures.  We adopted a Catahoula/Lab X.  She is a honey.  She is now 1 year old.  She look all Catahoula.  I can't figure how to post pictures but will once I can.  I know the Catahoula is the state dog to Louisiana.  Her mom was rescued from Katrina and 10 puppies when she got to Long Island, New York.  They are completely foreign here, although I'm told a few people have spotted them recently in the area.  Love to have feed back. • Casey Posted : 11/16/2006 3:03:27 PM Having worked at two LI no-kill shelter (before going off to school, I'm from LI), I have noticed a lot of Catahoula pups coming in lately both when I worked there and by looking online. People seem to be drawn to them if they have blue eyes or by their coat patterns, and when they are up for adoption I usually noticed when I was working the kennel area that they would be the first pups to go.
