Hello everyone! I'm not really that new, I actually just moved up to Group One, but I don't remember if I've ever really introduced myself, so here goes:
My name is Stephanie and I've been her since March, I think.
I have a 3-year old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever cross named Cassidy, and I got her when she was 7 weeks old in 2003. She's all black except for a just a little tan coloring. She loves to play fetch, and knows how to catch a frisbee pretty well. She's good with other dogs, dominant over a few, but submissive with some [:-] Her hobby is chasing birds, all the sparrows that live in the pine trees. She's also always on a lookout for any squirells in our woods. I've taught her how to herd the cattle for us a little bit, and she's good at gaurding gates so they don't get out. She also loves to go swimming, we have a creek in the woods where she swims regularly ( even if the temperature is below freezing!), and also enjoys going to the lake. She jumps off of the dock into the water, which is fun . And as far as obedience, we've done some advancd training classes and gone to a few obedience shows, and we've actually gotten Grand Champion on our class a couple of times. I did agility classes with her for a while, and I want to take that up again, it was so much fun! She's knows several tricks, too. I think that's all I have to brag out Cassidy! Oh, she's very good with little kids, older kids, and adults [

I always say I have two dogs, but Cassidy is actually just my only one. Mirelle is a black Labrador Retriever puppy (her picture is in my avatar). She's 11 months old now, and I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. I'm rasing her to be a service dog for Canine Companions for Independence, and they'll take her back for advanced training next May, I think. She's the first puppy I'm raising for them, and I'll probably do another dog after her. She gets to come into stores with me, and events. She's gone into a lot of stores, about the only place I haven't taken her so far is to the theater or a concert. She does really good, and when she's home she's just a normal ( well-behaved though!) puppy, and loves to play with Cassidy all of the time. When we're out in public, though, she's really good and is used to wearing her cape. I think she behaves herself better when it's on! She knows quite a few of the commands I have to teach her, but she still needs to learn some more. Mirelle is the most adorable puppy ever! [

We also have 10 cows and 5 calves right now, 2 horses, 4 goats, 10 cats, 6 rabbits, and I've also got a goldfish and a Cockateil!
And I think that's all. Hello to everyone in the forum! I love this place!
