• Cat spraying urine problem Elizabeth Onsurez Posted : 1/10/2007 8:22:25 PM hello, can anyone advise me if there is a home formula to stop cat`s spraying our front door?? Almost everynite a cat or cats come spray the door GRRRR, I have to spray bleach just to kill the smell of the urine. • Margaret Tyler Posted : 1/10/2007 9:10:02 PM Moth Balls.  You can also buy a cat repellent from any pet store.  One is called Behave.  My favorite is Scram.  These product smell like moth balls mixed with chives.  Maybe try that. • ottoluv Posted : 1/11/2007 12:59:23 PM This is going to sound crazy, but it worked for me. I was watching this show on animal planet where a lady had this same problem. The animal behaviorist recommended rubbing a washcloth (dry) over the cat a bunch then rubbing the wash cloth over the areas where the cat sprayed weekly claiming that the cat would smell it's sent and not spray. I tried it an it totally worked!!! I wouldn't have believed it if I wouldn't have tried it myself.
