One of my cats passively hates my dog!

...and whichever one it is is showing it by PEEING on the places my dog sleeps! First, last night, in my bedroom...couldn't figure out exactly where it was! I looked all over on the ground, and couldn't figure out where the pee was.  I decided it must be under the bed, and I had to sleep with that REEK all night because it was really late by the time I discovered it, and there's no way I had the energy to take apart that huge bed.  So I wake up this morning, get up, feed my dog.  I notice there's a little piddle spot in her crate!!!! :S  The dog was in the bedroom with me all night! So, the cats did it.  So I wonder if it's my dogs bed in the bedroom that got the pee on it....sssuuuure enough! ARGH! I have no idea which cat is doing it (I have a 1 1/2 year old fixed male, and a 4ish fixed female), and haven't had pee problems with the male in a year, or the female in about 3  years.  :S  How frustrating and gross! My house stinks!!!!!

you first need to rule out a UTI before assuming it's behaviorial.
And I can relate. My Dixie has been displaying her displeasure with the foster cats all over the house!!! I was able to take a sample she left ON THE STOVE TOP and I saw her do it, for a urinalysis and it's behaviorial.
I have had 2 fosters at a time lately and I think it's too much for Dixie to handle so I have to go back down to one at at time after these 2 go.
I have started giving Dixie Bach's Rescue Remedy every afternoon and that has helped...some. I have Feliway spray ordered to see if that might also help.
One night she slapped my Zeus and then went onto the credenza and peed right in front of me. Then she very calmly walked into the bathroom where my husband was shaving, and peed on the floor right beside him.
She isn't even hiding it anymore.
Cats can be so hard to figure out.

A long time ago (well, maybe last year), Jen (Roscoe's Mom) had a problem with her cat doing the same thing to her dog's stuff. Jen doesn't really come on this board anymore, but I know she posted about it on here at the time. Maybe try a search??
