    What a change!

I take horseback riding lessons every week and one week my teacher got this horse that was ematiated and looked like she was pregnant because she was bloated from starvation, like the kids in africa get. This is what she looked like.

About two weeks later I rode her and she bucked when I tried to trot her, but was still to week to do anything. My teacher took her to a diferent stables because they had more land, but still took care of her while she was there.
A few days ago she came back, and she looked like this.

She is a really sweet little pony, but not yet able to be a lesson horse. I think she was abused because of the way she acts sometimes when we groom her. AngryPoor thing.  My teacher put me on her. She did ok. She trotted on her own, and loped without bucking, but then she got tired and would buck when I tried to get her to go faster. I have a hunch that if my teacher keeps her then I shall be riding her. My teacher always does that. We get an untrained horse and I ride it until it is good enough for it to be ridden by the more inexpirianced rider, and then she puts me on another difficult horse. I don't mind. I actually enjoy the challenge most of the time. The funny thing is that I have never fallen of a dificult horse, I always happen to have bad day and fall off a horse that any six year old can ride, lol. I hope this one is no exception.

so sad to see how sometimes animals suffer at the hands of humans....
