I'm actually very cool with this. Yesterday morning I had TIME with my wonderful husband, drank coffee together, talked.....all before he LEFT for work. Then he was home well before 6PM...left at 7:30, home before 6????? What a change. He was leaving at 5:15AM unless the weather was bad and then it was earlier and rarely getting home before 6:30 or 7PM..
I LOVE this house and I love the country setting, but that's OK. I'll find another house to love and another country setting to enjoy. It's all about attitude.....and being able to roll with the punches and come up smiling. I'm a pro at that. And hopefully the NEXT house will be already fenced AND have a garage!
And, yes, moving so often does make me pare things down. BUT, we do have a number of boxes of "kid stuff" that keep getting lugged all over the country. Oldest son doesn't have room for anything cuz his apartment isn't huge, and youngest son still lives at home......and they keep promising that they are gonna go through the transformers and Masters of the Universe toys and sell them on Ebay.....one day perhaps they will. But, the good news is that I've already repacked all those boxes and they are ready to move.
I've also restocked the motor home with dishes, silverware, bedding, towels, that sort of thing, so that I can have a clutter free place to live for a few days. DS is finally going to be able to fix my F250, which has been sitting with a blown engine for over a year, and I figure between the van, MY truck and my son's truck we can take ONE good load down so I can have a kitchen and bathrooms already in good shape pre move, and will likely take down computers, except for the laptop (don't everyone panic!) and of course will send stuff down likely on a daily basis with Todd since he's going to be going that way anyhow. I won't be able to spend as MUCH time in the new house premove as I did here, since it IS an hour or so away, but at least I'll be able to get down there a couple days premove and get some major cleaning done and get some things in order so that it isn't as chaotic. And, of course having the motorhome does have it's advantages since I can cook and sleep in there. But, what I'm hoping to do is to be able to get into a house around mid-May and be able to do a LOT in advance before an actual full move towards the end of that month. Uh oh....there I go planning again!!
I'm honestly VERY excited. Not looking forward to house hunting or the actual move, but I'm excited!!
