I'm Moving!!!

    I'm Moving!!!

In two weeks.  We just found out for sure yesterday.  We got a 3 bedroom townhouse in a nice little spot of town.  There are tons of kids for my son to play with,  3 parks very close, and lots of trails and fields for the dogs.  Rent is good and the landlord seems nice.  Kind of crazy but she's nice.

We got a kind of irratating phone call from our current landlord a couple weeks ago.  She claimed that we were running a boarding kennel out of our apartment.  Apparently we leave our door open all the time and dogs are running in and out all day long.  We leave the unscreened windows open for the mice to come in too.  Oh and we have lots of dogs running around in the basement destroying it (their crates are in the basement because its cooler for them but they are not running around if they are down there.)  The clincher however was apparently we have been late on our rent before so she can evict us whenever she wants.  In Ontario none of these things would even be a reason to evict us.  Nothing would stand up to the tribunal which is where she would have to go to get an eviction order.  So she couldnt evict us even if we were doing any of that stuff. But we decided that we didn't want to live in her house anymore anyway.  We figured it would only escalate.  Besides we needed the extra bedroom anyway.  With the baby coming and all.  I guess this just gave us a boost.

Anyway, now I'm just asking for good moving vibes.  Our last move was just from upstairs to the mainfloor and it was stressful enough.  This time its all the way across town, and I'm pregnant.

You better not board all those animals in your new house...not even the mice.[;)]

    Good luck with your move!

Candace, you'll be fine.  Sounds like getting out of where you are will reduce your stress a lot.

I was 2 weeks from my due date and moved about 150 miles.  I slept on the floor for 3 days at the new house because it was a military move and direct meant whenever the moving van arrived.  My doc said I was fine, so off we went.  We only had one small dog at the time and no mice.
