Need some camping meal ideas

You could always pack sandwiches ahead of time and store in the cooler. You could also make eggs and bacon, just bring a griddle pan to put on top of the campfire/range. You could also wrap ears of corn in tinfoil and grill them as well.

    Don't forget the marshmallows!

Last time i went camping i made Fajitas.  I brought pre-sliced onion and peppers in containers, and already cooked chicken sliced thin.  When i got there, i just fried up the onions and peppers, put in the chicken and a seasoning packet (plus a cup of water).

That might be too much to carry if your feeding a lot of people, because you still need tortillas, and then if you want you can bring salsa and other fixings.

*sigh*  Unfortunately, I think I probably could eat hot dogs for 4 days - or a week.  Please pass the mustard, relish & salsa. [:)]

If you have a camp store local there is something we called "pie irons" it looks like a clam shell made out of metal with long handles.
You spray it with Pam and place a piece of bread on each side. Fill with ham, chesse, turkey, ground meat...whatever you want and stick them in the already burning fire. Depending on the heat turn once and stick back in the fire...grilled what have you sandwiches!!
We also used this for desert using any pie filling...apple being my favorite

I've also been doing this at home for quick meals...boneless pork or chicken in a baggie with Santa Fe seasoning, shake so meat is coated..freeze. once thawed it is already marinated and you can throw it on the grill or in the oven...so far it has never missed a great meal mark with my family

I hope you have a great time and the weather is good
