Some people don't even get stretch marks. Apparently if you are in good shape and have been that way most of your life, you skin has lots of elasticity and will just stretch the way its supposed to. I got mine with my son so I'm not even worried about them with this one. My stomach is already ruined.

And might I add, I am so glad to be a Canadian! And an Indian to boot! I think if baby was a boy I have to pay for circumsision now. Thats it. Oh and cable in my room.[

Insurance...yes, yes, yes!! You'll be glad you got it.

The anxiety you're feeling now is normal. But you'll do fine. You have plenty of time now to do tons of reading and preparation. Check out [linkhttp://www.babycenter.com]www.babycenter.com[/link].

Yes, it is a huge step and it will change your life forever but whatever sacrifices you have to make will seem SO insignificant. And yes....it's different when it's your own.

BTW, droopy breasts has nothing to do with breastfeeding. Pregnancy does that to you. Also, stretch mark creams, etc don't get rid of stretch marks. It's a genetic thing. You either get it or you don't. But keeping your belly moisturised will stop it from itching as it's growing.

DH's mother is a TINY woman (the only time she weighed over 110 lbs was when she was pregnant) who gave birth to 8 children and NEVER had a stretch mark, not ONE.

Most of what I've read about stretch marks is that like spider veins they are genetic. If your Mom got them, you'll likely get them also...as will your daughters, it's the gift that keep on giving.

Stretch marks are a badge of honor....one of the funniest and sweetest things my then 4y/o daughter said to me was...upon seeing my tummy,...."Mommy, I still love you and think you are pretty even if your tummy is all wrinkly"...LMAO!

I weighed 107lbs before my first kid and 163lbs at the end....I then went back down to 125lbs or so then up to 152lbs with the second, a 9lbs+ boy. I am now back to 115lbs. Breast feeding helps a lot with the weight loss.
