Stupid People - WARNING Sense of Humor Required

I was feeling so depressed as I started to read this thread. I have a sense of humor but I don't think putting those who are less fortunate down, to make myself feel better is cool. Sorry I guess I'm just a stick in the mud. Chinook, Twelvepaws, Garretand paul, pndhnds thank you for letting me know that not all everyone on this board finds this unkindess to be "humor". You would think people who love animals so much would be more empathetic to their own species.
 
Billy, I was just wondering if you have ever heard of Eugenics? This is somthing you might want to research and look into before you start making jokes like this. Its not a joke, during the first quarter of this century thousands of american's were essentially "neutered" for being poor, which was equated with stupidity. Here you are in 2006 espousing the same ignorant, cruel ideology. Equating poverty with lack of motivation and unitellegence means you are not looking at the big picture. But if your opinions make you feel superior for being privleged, upper middle class and white, go ahead and continue your mean spirited rantings.

The Darwin Awards rock. Meh--everyone's offended by something these days. I know people personally who fall into the "adds nothing to the gene pool and should be fixed" catogory. If any of you spent any amount of time with these individuals, you too would find the humor in the OP. Then again you would stop laughing when you realized that they are continuing to multiply, all the while being supported on the public dollar. One such person was remodeling her house while on welfare. Another has actually said that she believes that she is entitled to the welfare that she gets as she keeps producing children. Isn't it refreshing to know that your tax dollars are being well spent?

I should add the the husband of one of the above mentioned women believes that the best way to deal with a dog is to "beat it 'til it cries." Still feel that he is a victim of mean spirited rantings? Thanks, but I'll save my pity for the Bullet, the boxer who was at the recieving end of these puniskments, often for prolonged periods, because he "just wouldn't cry."

Maybe I misundersood what you are meaning but I can't figure out how comparing being rude to a Dog Beater and someone who works a certain job either because they have too or choose to is even relatively on the same level?

The title of the thread was "Stupid People." This guy is a complete idiot, and he and his wife are raising children who are taught that they will never be anything but poor (this has been said by their mother too) and that anyone that has more money than them are uppity "richies." Anyone willing to make a wager on how far these kids will go in life with encouragement and parenting like that?

I actually used to have more tolerance for the human race before I got Sally. However, the more I learned about pit bulls and what various groups of humans from hillbillies to thugs to dogmen to legislators to the people who set them on fire, shoot them, poision them, etc, the less compassion I have for my fellow mane and the more I have for the critters.

I think I get at what you were saying now. Had to read it again[] oor kids though some people don't deserve to be able to have children. Send them to me I will take them. Maybe we can set up a transport. Just kidding, but I really do feel bad for any kids that have to live in a bad home environment.
