New Raft! (look at this thing!) - UPDATE

• loveukaykay Posted : 4/23/2006 10:55:10 AM I hope to go a lot more it was great.  I love just laying out and having fun in the water.  My mom lost her purse[8|] lol.  We stopped at a riverside restaraunt where you just pull up by boat and got some oyster po-boys and I think she left it there... silly lady lol.  At least she had no cash in there.   She also said she would rather ski... said it was easier to get up.  I cant do anything today, OMG, Im so sore its unbelievable... shows what great shape Im in lol.  And the sunscreen must not have been at the top of our To Do list for the day cause were all burnt lol.      0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • cakana Posted : 4/23/2006 6:01:11 PM I would hate for my experience to make yal not get it When I first started reading your first post, I showed my husband the link for the raft and he got a big smile and said "maybe we'll have to get one of those".  I read further on though and told him how painful the whole experience had been and he changed his mind -thank you Amy!!!  We have the tube, which I love, and a wakeboard, which I've never tried but my husband has.  I'm a big chicken, so I'm happy to just float on a raft and enjoy the sun.  We put in a swimming pool 3 years ago and since then, we rarely even go out to the lake, so we might be selling the boat anyway.  We did have some great times though and tubing was the most fun for me. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • loveukaykay Posted : 4/23/2006 9:43:31 PM I saw on another demo video for that raft where the boat did have one of those and it was tied there... although I dont think its necessary it probably helps it fly a little easier.  If you do a google or some search of Sevylor Manta Ray Towable you can find a bunch of websites and you can get a few other demo videos, but that one you saw was the best lol.    It hurts to do anything, I couldnt even open a bottle of water earlier... so I think were gonna keep going each weekend.. not only is it fun well get into great shape doing it!    The raft is a lot of money, I say go for it though if you make sure you can return it. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Me, I'm not that adventurous - the most dangerous things for me were jumping horses and driving big trucks in scary neighborhoods... • luv_my_3_labs Posted : 4/24/2006 8:07:05 AM   Spirit dogs, I don't think any of us in my family have low impulse control.  If I did I'd be in jail for smacking stupid people. Like the two people that got arrested for abusing and killing their dogs. The people that go out partying and leaving their teenage kids to run the streets at all hours and use cell phones as babysitters.   I could go on and on but that is just a few examples of whats going on in our community now.   I'm lucky to have kids that still like to hang with their parents.  We do less exciting things as a family too.  I think crack heads have far more troubles than low impulse control, like low self esteem among other problems.  It doesn't take skill to smoke a pipe but doing a back flip on a wake board can get you asked to join an international ski team and see the country.    0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
