Last night, we had an issue with not having enough syringes for Deacon over the weekend. Thanks to some help from the base, we learned where we could purchase a package of 10 to get us through until Monday. I am not much of a drinker. I rarely imbibe, but last night I figured on purchasing some wine and returning home to a quiet evening with a glass and a good book. This would be on the way to picking up Deacon's syringes. Anyway, Hawke wished to come with me and I just couldn't deny the company. I looked at DH and said, "What an image. Hawke's hand is bandaged from the burn and I am off to take him with for liquor and needles. What does that imply?" I know it is not true. But the connotation is funny.
Anyway, here is another anecdote from last night. Hawke and I were talking about the effects of liquor and how many people do not take part in drinking it. Well I said, "Alcohol can make some people act stupid." Hawke replied, "Like Daddy?" Trying to hide my laughter, I said, "Daddy's comes naturally. He does not drink." Hawke said, "Because daddy acts pretty stupid with me, Ali and Sebastian." ROFL!!
(Seriously, Hawke was only referring to DH acting silly with the kids. Like when he imitates the professor on Fairly Oddparents. Or does his other voices. Hawke was using sutpid as being silly.)
