Even for TODAY, I can't catch a break :(

Today is my 30th birthday and I can't even have a break from something. I woke up in the middle of the night with an ear infection. I am thinking how appropriate since I busted ear drums left and right from constant ear infections when I was a baby and a young child. The ear infections stopped once my parents realized that I was allergic to anything that had a dairy product as an ingredient. I have an appt. today at 10:45 and I have no idea how I will make it to that time. My kids' talking irritates my ear.

Anyway, it really stinks to be sick on a birthday. I hate postponing my birthday plans until the weekend, but I just may have to. On the bright side, DH is here for this birthday. He hasn't been around for my birthday for the past 2 years. Also, the ear ache did wake me up in time to sing Happy Birthday to me before my alarm went off. I have set my alarm for the time I was born every birthday that way I can sing happy birthday.

Sigh.

Well have as good of one as you can with an ear infection. Blowdryer always helps with mine. So does Whiskey![

Oh, you poor thing! My last birthday was a complete wash as well. Slicky had head butted me 2 days prior and I was left with a FULL ON black eye. I also had the biggest zit I've had in my entire life, right in the middle of my chin. It was about the size of a dime, bright red, swollen and throbbing (impossible to cover up). Oh right, AND I got my period that morning. I spent the day curled up in bed with a hot water bottle and a Tylenol PM. haha. I hope you get through the day and get a good night's sleep tonight! Next year will be better. Happy Birthday!

I have some drops they gave me for Lily's ears to numb them...ask for those!

i always think birthdays can be rough because we expect so much of them...

anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and i hope you feel better! eat some extra cake.. that will help!
