New pets

• New pets magilacudy Posted : 3/28/2007 7:51:23 AM Yesterday I picked up my first order of chicks. I get ten laying hens all different colors.  They had all hatched in the morning. Also My Silky hen ( white chicken on my web site) has started to lay eggs so I'll get some chicks from her. The ducks should start anytime now, since the weather has been sooooo warm.   Also I put in my order for 2 baby goats. They will be born in the middle of July. So, I've got lots of work to do to get ready. I'll post pics of all the chicks and duckys when they hatch. • magilacudy Posted : 3/28/2007 4:34:45 PM Yup real live peeps. It's so hard not to smoosh 'em their so cute. These ones are for laying only, unless I get more roos then I want. My meat birds wont come for another month. We are also getting pheasant.   Well Joyce, I've been warned to build the pen fully enclosed due to Coyottes, wolves,owls,hawks,opposum,weasles and stray dogs.  I've been told that there are 2 dogs that are permited to wonder.  Here is a pic of the new chicks and a nesting box I built all by myself today.[] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
