What do the smilies mean to you?

I have a funny pic of a model truck that i built..should i show it to you?lol It is smiley related..

I think they're a lot of fun.
 
Some folks call them emoticons because they add an emotion or a feeling to a post to clarify words and intent. They are also used rather snidely at times without getting too personal to convey a feeling or in humor to break the tension or soften a post. The board needs to update its selection. We are missing out on a bunch of good ones. 

[] = Friendly intent.
[] = Wink-wink, nudge-nudge, know what I mean? Take it with a grain of salt.
[] = Humor, happy, or submissive grimace.
[8D] = Goofy, silly, or demented.
[&:] = Happy happy, joy-joy.
[] = Fretting or sorrowful.
[:@] = Angry, frustrated, or bad gas.
[sm=eek.gif] = Huh? I can't believe it, shock.
[:'(] = Yuck, barf, distasteful.
[>:] = Oye, oh dear, grumble-grumble.
[] = Oh my, oh how awful, oh my goodness!
[X(] = Is this a waiter smiley or a TP dispenser? I don't get it.
[:-] = Shhh, mums the word, nose picker, or thumb sucker.
[8|] = The most misunderstood smiley on the block.
[&o] = Never used it, never will. Too pink and whimpy.

The construction worker means "hard hat area."  It is used a lot in the breeding section to warn people to be careful what and how they say things.  It can get quite heated there!
