You take one picture a day for a year, and then at the end of the year you can look back and remember all the things that happened. Its actually pretty cool
I have a journal set up to post my pictures on, feel free to check it out!

actually, i will probably do it!  i just don't have a computer at home (at work now) and so i can't set up a page now...
it's a really good idea.  kind of like a photo blog!

I'm interested! I think it's a really cool idea. Might have to be a weekly thing for me though because nothing interesting happens to me on a daily basis. [:D]

Me neither, but you are supposed to do a picture everyday! It will be cooler and more accurate in the long run, no one has an exciting day everyday! On your off days you could just take a picture of yourself, to see how you change durning the year, or a picture of your pup so you can watch how she changes, etc. There is always something to photograph! Or do I just love my camera too much?[:)]

ohhh what a cool idea I really want to do that now.

I realize sometimes how life really passes you by and you truly do forget what happened in that year that was special, even if it was a small thing.

DH and I talked about this last night and we are going to do it for the baby.  We thought it would be cool to see the transformation over a year's time.  I wish we would have done with Charlie and with my pregnancy.  There are months with no pictures of him and he goes from a wee pup to beagle in a flash of the eye.

Did anyone see the movie "Smoke"?  The character played by Harvey Keitel takes the same ;picture every single day at the exact same time for like, 20 years.  He sets up his tri-pod on the corner of his cigar shop and shoots the opposite corner of the street (in Park Slope, Bklyn).  It ends up being so incredibly fascinating, you cannot believe.  The entire world (figuratively speaking) ;passes through his frame over the course of 20 years.  He ends up with stacks of albums of the corner.

My DH was telling me about that movie last night when we were talking about this.  He's seen it, but we are going to rent it this weekend for me.  I think that is the coolest idea.

My friend is engaged to an artist who did something similar - took a picture of every single thing he threw away - all for a year.  To make the visual connection to just how much garbage one person puts into a landfill.  The visual effect was pretty astounding, even to strangers, when he posted the collage of pictures.

This sounds like a cool idea, to document your days.  I think I'm going to do it starting on April Fool's Day!  Thanks for the fun idea!!

I'm definitely going to start doing this. I don't have a computer at home and my digital camera sucks, but oh well. I think it's a great idea and I can only imagine how fascinating it will be to look back on those pictures when I'm older. I love it. Thank you for posting this.
