...to my boyfriend's parents' house, to hang out with his family. I'm hoping to drag the boyfriend on a trip to Montreal, Florida, and/or Spain this summer, though!

I wish we were planning a WILD spring break. My kids are off next week and I have no idea what we are doing.

I'll be spending about a week with some loose women, thousands of dogs and communal showers in a southern locale.  Of course that's just a dog show in Perry, GA.  But it's a spring break for me. [;)]  And I'll have lots of pics to share.  It'll be my own little expose'.

I wish I were having a wild spring break  (which I am about mid way through right now). Monday I took the GRE. Tuesday my friend, sister and I dropped the dogs at day care, then we went shopping for stuff we needed for some projects. We had lunch, then we came home and worked on some stuff. Then we got bored of working at home, so we went to do some work at the library because we needed to find some children's books. After the library we got dinner, then we picked up the dogs. It snowed yesterday, so my friend didn't come back over, but we chatted on the phone for about 2 hours writing a lesson plan. Last night's wild adventures included playing around with some stuff on some BBC kids sites, which were very fun in my opinion and I will post links later, that was for another assignment. I also worked and went to dog class with my sister and Georgie. Oh, and I stepped on a piece of glass or something, which is still in my foot, last night. Today's adventures including going out with my sister. I'm planning to get a hair cut, and some slippers so I don't have to worry about more glass in the foot. I'm also working this afternoon. It should be interesting I suppose because the kid's parents aren't home, and I have no idea who will be home.
Friday's wild adventure is still unplanned. One of my friends wants to go see 300, which does look good, but i'm sure the theater will be crowded as all hell tomorrow night since it's coming out tomorrow. I want to see it, but i'm not overly thrilled about the crowded theater bit. I'll probably finish up any of the work I can get done that is due next week (i'm still waiting on stuff from other group members to get some of it done).
Saturday is the real fun though, or at least the real money making. I'm working with one kid from 9:30-12:30, then i'm going to grab some lunch and race over to the other kid's house to keep him occupied from 1-6. So, Saturday's before tax earnings will be $151. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. After that I plan to crash both physically and mentally. If by any chance the comments on the afforementioned lesson plan come back on Saturday, the reply is likely to be nasty.
Sunday, after one last day of sleeping in, I will get done any last minute stuff that needs to be done. I will also spend the night crying.

At least I have next Thursday off, and I am planning to meet my friend who will be on break next week for lunch.

Other cool things that happened were that I learned I have off for the afternoon on April 3rd, and I have the morning off on the 10th. Since my friends have not yet completed what the meeting on April 3rd is about, I will be coming home early by myself that day. Maybe I'll get a nice lunch and take the dogs out that day. On the 10th I plan to sleep in a bit, and maybe my friend and I will get a late breakfast or early lunch on our way to practicum that day. We're supposed to be teaching that day, but our supervisor will not be in to watch us, so that makes me very happy.

Don't worry though, I am planning something better to do at the end of the semester.

Oh, I forgot the best part. I got a check in the amount of $3760 from my grandpa. I'm saying goodbye to windows and getting myself a macbook when that clears.

I hear ya.  I want to hear some crazy Cancun stories since that is definitely not in my future any time soon!

Some of you know that i lived in Cancun for 15 years, for the last 3 years there i worked as entertainer in an All Inclusive Hotel, i was the one (along with many others) in charge of organize games next to the pool, organize beach volleyball, do contests for the guests, etc. some of those were involving alcohol like the beer drinking contest, so i saw a lot of my co workers being drunk a couple times at work when the guests wanted to take shots with us after that, we hide our drunkeness very well, we were not drunk ver often though, is not fun when you need to keep working while you are drunk or hangover and you have to do the rehearsal for that night show, sometimes if you were not careful you could take one drink too many [;)], we knew exactly where the limit was

Of course during spring breake was the highest point of the year, we were also taking the guests to the nightclub (the nightclub was giving us comission adn a dance floor table for doing that), let me tell you, it was taking you like 10 minutes to get to the bathroom because the amount of people inside the nightclub (a 10 minutes trip that usually takes 30 seconds any other night)

You could see a lot of stuff that i would leave to your imagination

Of course that when sprink breake was over we continued to work and do the same week after week, so you could say that i lived in a continous spring breake for 3 years, and yes, after those 3 years i was really tired [&o]

My spring break will be pretty boring..Maisie's getting spayed on Tuesday, so I'm spending my week with her!

Not really...I'm just going home and will probably spend the entire time with the hounds [:)]   I'm sure they'll need baths, nail clippings, grooming, walks, etc etc etc when I get home...and I need the exercise, too!  I miss having my dogs around to give me an excuse to get outside and get some exercise [;)]

I'll also probably be working on pet portraits, hanging out with the family, cleaning off the fox skulls in my freezer, taxiderming a mouse, taking the cat to the vet, picking up the dead fox and otter from the vet, seeing some friends I haven't seen in a while, loafing around the house (if I have time), figuring out my summer job situation, and probably a whole bunch of other things.  Been meaning to do a big photoshoot of the pets for a while now and I'll be home around them all so I'll do that too.  So no, I'm not really "doing anything", but I'll be busy as heck I'm sure  [:D]

Nothing planned yet for spring break, but I am going to Vegas for St. Patty's Day weekend. [;)] The last time I was there, I was in the best shape of my life, danced on the bars at Coyote Ugly, got the most wasted I've ever been in my life, woke up with bruises on my arms and face from having hit my head against the side of the bathtub and toilet as I puked, and went back out the next day and did it all over again. It was my 21st bday and I never drink so it was a big deal for me.

Now I'm overweight, insecure, self-conscious and going to be 25. I'm assuming that I'll end up doing all of the same things I did last time. [:D

Not quite wild, and not quite a youngin but going camping next weekend! Northern California coast, good ol' Gold Bluffs Beach. Will have some pictures.

Now the hard part is deciding what children to take. Definitely not taking all three! Heather's 7, and I think she will absolutely love the beach, and sleeping in a tent. But would you take the 3 yr old and the 7 yr old? Or the two month old and the 7 yr old? Or the 3 yr old and the two month old?! I don't know....
    • Gold Top Dog
I probably go with the 3 and 7 IF I could leave the baby in capable hands that would kick me in the kiester to get me to leave the house when I dropped the baby off...lmao!
