    Should I be worried...?

I have two dogs, one is Panda 10 month old husky male mix, and the other one is Buddy, a Corgie/Cattle mix who is 4 months old. The thing is, I let them play because they wear themselves out, but all they do is wrestle, Panda is always sure not to bite him, and when he does it's on his colar not on his on his skin, though he will chew on his skin now and then, the small one always bites him which looks hard but Panda doesn't mind.

Anywho, I am letting them play right now and the little one is actually growling and soft barking as they are wrestling, I would have thought they would have been settled down by now. At this moment Buddy is on Panda, Panda is wagging his tail and swatting at him Buddy, but Buddy is on top growlig away chewing everywhere he can...

Its funny that you posted this because I was going to ask pretty much the same thing. My two dogs LOVE eachother, but sometimes it worries me that they are fighting too hard! Duke is older, so he doesn't bite Daisy too hard, he knows to be gentle. (although she runs to me yelping sometimes, but I think it is more that she isn't getting her way so she tries come to me for help). Duke never yelps, but Daisy is SOOOOO rough with him. She will bite on to his jaw, tail, and ears.... and doesn't let go!

Thanks for posting this! Even though I get worried, I think that it is okay. They have so much fun. It will be good to hear what other people think though!

LOL, well, we are hitting two birds with one stone... (though I would never throw a rock at a bird) [&:]

My puppy Izzy likes to bite Harley.  As long as they are respectful of each other when one yelps, and the other stops, they are probably OK.  Harley and Izzy both let each other know when the other is playing too rough and both respect each other when they tell one another to stop and actually stop in their tracks.  As long as you see them being respectful of each other, they are probably fine playing with each other.  I was worried about this at first b/c Izzy likes to grab onto Harley's flab of loose skin but it doesn't seem to bother him one bit.

our dogs pretty much do the same thing. and they are vocal while they are playing. not really growling, just making noises. they always seperate when one of them yelps though. we usually let them wrestle as long as they arent getting too rambunctious in the house, as it does burn off a lot of energy.
