MomStuff-Can I just get a small brag in

I was putting off saying anything to avoid angering the potty gods and having him have a setback..but...ELIAS IS POTTY TRAINED...yay!

BOY....was he a pain in *** to get trained...so stubborn! But I think...once he decided to cooperate...he was easier than Lily who had to have enforced number two days or she'd never, ever have gone (sigh)

Underwear only now (pull up at night for the mattresses sake...tho that's been dry for over a week now yay!)...at home AND out and about, he tells you he has to go...in fact viewing new and different bathrooms is his new hobby lol!

I am so happy it's OVER...but that last tiny vestige of "baby boy" is now officially gone...so it's kinda sad too.

So to commemorate here's a baby pic and a recent pic of the big boy! 3 y/o, 40lbs, and 41" of rip-snortin' "big boy"....

Aw!  Congratulations!  It IS a really big deal.  Life is so much easier for everyone when you no longer have carry or change diapers..  And yes - I feel for you, "baby" boy is really gone now.  ADORABLE picture!!!

    Congratulations!

Gosh Gina - he is so cute, he is definitely going to be breaking some hearts in the future...which will be much easier to do now without a diaper!

    Big and handsome! Congrats Elias.
It's funny how we rush them to grow up and then wish they were still babies. Thank goodness dogs always have the heart of a child!

Congratulations!  Boys are often harder to train than girls, or so I'm told.  I had pretty good luck once I gave up on the pullup thing.  Kale just thought of them as diapers.  When we gave them up and he actually peed in his pants once, he decided it was better to use the potty.  We never had an accident after that.

I totally wished Kale grown.  When he was born I couldn't wait for him to smile, then I couldn't wait for him to roll over, to sit up, to crawl, walk, talk, go to school.  Now I wish he was little again.  [:(]  Kali is different.  Now at almost 2 months, when someone says,"Oh look at her smile!"  I still try to insist its just gas... she can stay a baby forever is she wants![:D]

Definitely. Elias was slow to grow up...he didn't walk til 15 months or therabouts..actually crawled and babbled, cute stuff like that.

Lily....sheesh where did she go? She was up and WALKING at 9 months...she never crawled so much as commando scooted on her elbows....she teethed really early and could chew like the dickens early as well. Elias was slow to take to chunky foods and teethed more at the normal time. Talking same thing..Lily really early, really well, and really constant....Elias still doesn't talk as much or as clearly.

I think it was because she was first...we were in a hurry to see all the cool stuff we'd heard about, lol. With Eli I knew how quick it would all go and I babied him a ton more....we both did.
