Hey all, don't know if this is the right place, but anyhow. My dog, Chelsey (9 monts old beagle female) was terrified of water...Last night , we brought to the dog park as usual, with our friends and their dog. Afterwards, we took a walk with the dogs across the park (they had to be on leash there, because we weren't in the fenced area anymore) and there is a lake where sometimes ppl take their dogs for a swim. Now, our friends' dog went in right away, and poor Chelsey wanted to play with him, but was terrified. My friend suggested i throw in a stick, which i did, and boy oh boy, Chelsey went in to retrieve the stick!!! And not just once! Me and my husband were so proud and happy that she had overcome her fear of water. Yay for Chelsey!!
