Who believes Sylvia Brown is a true psychic?

I think she is a fake and fraud.

    I am a believer.
I have read almost all of her books and find her very facinating.
Even if it all isn't real, just reading her books gives me peace of mind.
I like the fact that she says all animals do go to heaven because they have souls and besides that, they are perfect in every aspect of the word.
    She is my hero [:)]

Nope, I don't believe it either...

    But to each their own!

Well you just have to read this and make your own conclusions [;)]

She really messed up, when she told the parents of the boy that was missing for 4 years that he was dead.

The minute she uttered those words the mother was breaking down.......I guess we can be thankful she is a fraud, the kid is alive.

I do think she has a "gift" but I also understand a session with her is in the neighborhood of about $700 so unless I just happen to be in the area and snag tickets to the Montel Williams show on the day she's on, I won't be seeing her [:)] in this lifetime.

I definitely believe in what she does, but I don't believe in her.

Have a look at that site, and draw your own conclusions from it. [:)]

Here's another site that's not too hip on her:

My take on all of this is:  show me the numbers. The number of times they've correctly predicted something and the number of times they've been right. Percentages is what I want to see. And if it's greater than chance, then she'll have my attention.

I think it's horrible what she did to that family. Think of all the others that couldn't verify or deny the "insight" she spews. I hope they don't hold false hope or have premature pain because of that nutcase. It disgusts me to see people making money by pulling the wool over the eyes of people in pain :(

There was another video on "you tube", where she was on the Montel show and told this poor woman who lost her husband on 9/11, he was a firefighter, that he was dead.

She didn't know this, and proceeded to tell her that he was dead, and he was in water, that is why people would not be able to find him....

That "water" trick is an old standby for the psychics. They'll usually say "they're near water" well who the heck isn't? A bathtub, the ocean, a puddle in a field. DH says, although I can't find verification of it, that there are no verified reports of psychics "solving" crimes for law enforcement agencies. I tend to believe this, but I'd like to see the statement verified. Like I said before, I want the numbers!
