I just read about this in the paper.  Has anyone done this?

    Sounds fun, I wantta join[:D]

I always seem to give away my books after reading them so this would be perfect to see where they end up and what happens to them after they leave my life[:)]

I do "Where's George?" which is where you mark paper money with www.wheresgeorge.com and go ahead and spend it after registering it on the website. I've had my bills make it all the way to the Lower 48. It's fun. I think it would be fun with books, too, but highly unlikely any would make it out of Alaska. They might get to BC or the Yukon, but I bet that's it.

Oh, that's cool! I'll have to save the site. I gave away or sold almost all of my books before I moved to Nebraska, but I'm sure my library will regenerate quickly. I am signed up for a book-swapping site but it turned out to be a bit of a PITA... any time someone requested one of your books you had 3 days to get it to a post office, & that was not fun.

Give away books?? Then what will my shelves be overflowing with??? Sorry, I'm a little horrified at the idea... [:D]

No, it does sound really neat, but sheesh, I have a hard time giving books back to the library! [8D]
