• minimom Posted : 4/5/2006 7:03:28 PM lol Meilani, I love your Pharmacy Follies. I have a silly job story.  Actually, I have a lot of them, but this is the first that came to mind.  I used to work for the military supporting computer-based aircraft system simulators.  Some of our simulators were located in training rooms in the same hangars where maintenance was conducted on the real aircraft.  One day I was walking into a hangar carrying a mock-up of a throttle stick which was identical to those used in real aircraft.  A very young (probably fresh out of school) aircraft maintenance guy walked up to me and asked to see my ID.  No problem, we were under a heightened security status and I was happy to see that he was being vigilant.  But then he looked down at the stick in my hand and asked "is that some kind of camera?".  Ruh-Roh...all I can remember thinking was "I sure hope he's clear on what the ejection seat handle looks like".  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
