HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2007!

Happy New Year! We came home last night just after 11 p.m. to find that Gracie had made it into our bedroom and shredded an entire box of kleenex right in the middle of the bed. Then she tore open a garbage sack full of stuffed animals (we rotate them around so the kids always think they've got new ones) and took about 7 of them up on the bed with her! Guess she was lonely!!

Happy New Year, Everyone!!  Ours was very quiet.  DH was tired and he went to bed about 9:00 p.m.  DS fell asleep on the sofa watching Seinfeld reruns.  DGS was too tired to stay up because he got up at 4:30 a.m. to slip out and hook up with a couple of friends - the plan was to skateboard to their favorite do-nut shop and be waiting outside when it opened at 5:00 a.m. Do do-nuts really taste better at 5:00 a.m. than at 9:00 a.m.?? I was rummaging around in the freezer and discovered that a box taking up a lot of space had one Schwans chicken cordon blue in it - so I cooked it up at 11:30 p.m. and at midnight I was sharing it with Max. He also got to lick the cool whip off the top of my hot chocolate.  It was a great New Years Eve for all concerned. []

Happy New Year to all.   We had a really loud & rowdy night last night, but I think everyone involved had a great time.  I am now laying on the couch, with a glass of Alka-Seltzer, a bottle of gatorade, a cup of coffee, a bottle of tylenol, and 2 spoiled rotten dachshunds.  I don't think I will be moving off the couch today with the exceptions of potty breaks.

Happy New Year!! Ours went really well, it was a lot of fun. We had a few people over for a party on New Years Eve, started about 5pm until almost 2am. First we played some card games, then went out and had a game of football, in the dark, of course. That's always fun [] And then we came in to have supper, we ate about 9pm. We played some more games in the house, and then went outside again to play basketball and Black Panther (aka Ghosts in the Graveyard). We came inside then a few miniutes to Midnight and rang in the New Year....then we had cake and ice cream. And played more games until about 2. So....it might sound a little childish, but I had a blast []

We had a yellow Lab puppy over too, and Mirelle played with her inside, while Cassidy played outside with all of the kids. I was going to give the dogs a rawhide roll for a New year's eve treat, but I decided to wait until tonight because of the excitement we had last night. I think the dogs had a good time, but they weren't sure why we were staying up a lot later than usual!

Today I slept in a little late, and got up in time to watch the Rose Bowl Parade on TV, and then we went to the theaters to see Night at the Museum, that was a good movie. And that's all!

I'll have to take your word for that, as I have yet to try Krispy Kreme. One opened in Sacramento a few months ago (I understand the line when they opened was around the block) but I opted not to drive 20+ miles for a do-nut.[]
