You can tell that I have no plans. Holidays should not be allowed to be on a Monday...it messes with my mind....

Same here. I keep forgetting that tomorrow night is New Year's Eve. Obviously, I don't have any plans either. Brett's working nights so it'll just be me and the dogs, but I bet he'll come home with some great stories about the people they bring into jail.[

It makes for problems here, too. [] Our trash gets picked up on Monday - but not last Monday or this Monday. Think I could remember to get it out on Monday night instead of Sunday?? Nothing quite like two weeks worth of garbage bags poking up out of the can.

Our trash gets picked up on Monday - but not last Monday or this Monday.

No plans here but I'm just as happy not to be on the road with the crazies.

Joyce - our trash pickup is Mondays too, and they come even if it's a holiday. I think I was about the only person who put theirs out last Monday though. Who wakes up on Christmas morning and thinks about putting their trash out???

] I put our trash out on Monday morning. But then again our trash gets picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays. I took it out because we trashed the living room with all the wrapping paper from Christmas morning.

I have forgotten that tomorrow is New Years Eve as well. We have no plans. The only thing I am looking forward to is watching the ball drop in NYC. That has always signaled to me that it is the New Year even if I am not in that time zone. It stems from childhood I know because I was raised on the East Coast.

] Actually, we are getting to house ready for a huge NYE party.(We worked in the yard all day) It looks like, if the weather cooperates, we should have about 300 people coming over to help ring in the new year.
