What is your experience with Customer Service Reps?

    Let me guess..you work at Key bank or Expedia. I work in Auburn. It's Verizon Wireless..hehe. I get weird people all the time..(I hope none of you people got me on a bad day..lol)

    I agree--Verizon is tops!

    I want to be able to understand people.  I do my very best to listen carefully.  I grew up with Vietnamese kids and my current MD is (I believe) Vietnamese.  I speak Spanish pretty much every day, so I am well-versed in accents. I can understand almost anyone who speaks English with a variety of accents andI am always polite to the folks on the other end of the phone.

    HOWEVER, I hate, hate hate when the rep can't or won't help me. I had a Daimler Chrysler person who essentially told me that since a part on my car was FOUR DAYS out of warranty they wouldn't cover it or even make an adjustment for me.  The lady had the nerve to say, "Have a nice day!" when I got off the phone! [:@]

    Like I said, I think Verizon has excellent customer service. You must be really well trained to always help the customer. No matter how mad I am when I call, I always feel better at the end of the call. The couple of times that I've asked, I think I talked to people in Arizona. But it sounds like Verizon at least keeps most of their call centers in the country which is great.
     
    And I'm not a banker, so I guess you know where I work. [;)]
