I had heard that, as I am in the neighboring state - the one thing I am thankful for is the person who picked up the phone and dropped a dime on this guy.  Whoever you are, you are an angel! [sm=angel.gif]

Glad those dogs got rescued.  The guy sounds like a "collector."  He needs to spend a few weeks wallowing/eating/drinking his own urine and feces.

Aww, come on guys I always vote for the animals in abuse stories but obviously the guy is mentaly unstable.

Youd have to be a bit wacko to live with 32 dogs in a bus covered with urine and feces

By the way, where do you guys always find these animal articles? I would love to keep reading stuff like this, even though the stories sadden me greatly at least I keep in touch with the animal world

living just minutes away from the NH town where this low life first lived....I have tons of info. Shelter contact and I were talking about this just yesterday.
When he was living in BRIDGEWATER NEW HAMPSHIRE there were multiple complaints about this scumsucking goatlicker, but the police in that town would not do anything. Basically flat out refused to help these dogs. The humane society has no legal powers when it comes to issues like this (I know this to be true as whenever I've gotten involved I've had to contact the state vet's office and they LITERALLY do nothing at all).
anyway the guy finally had his property taken away from him for nonpayment of taxes. It was the only recourse the town had in handling him. Basically forcing him to leave the area. The town was more than willing to force the man, and his abused dogs, to leave their town than deal with the issue.
And that's how he ended in Vermont. The Vermont police was actually on the lookout for him - they somehow knew that's where he was headed. It was no accident they came upon him. At least they were willing to do something for those poor dogs.
the southern part of NH is pretty diligent in how they handle animal abuse cases and I applaud them - this area of the state is just so full of small towns and that small town mentality they seldom get involved.

I agree, Lizzie.  That is just so bizarre, but the man has got to be mentally unbalanced. In his own way, he needs as much help as his dogs.
