Brett took some dirt for my flower bed from under my grandfather's persimmon tree, and apparantly, there were pumpkin seeds there (he does plant pumpkins, afterall). Anyway, one day, a leaf popped up, and before I knew it, I had a huge vine. I wish I was that creative.   And yes, pumpkin is good for dogs. It helps "regulate" them. My boys love it, so every couple of weeks they get a big scoop on their food. The hardest part was getting Odie to sit still for the picture! [sm=biggrin.gif]   Basically, just carve the pumpkin out really well. Scrape the side you're going to use as the front so it's very thin on the inside. Take a pattern and use a toothpick to poke holes along the pattern lines onto the pumpkin.
