DSs went to spend the night with their respective best friends last night, so DH and I had the afternoon/evening free. We went to DH's best friend's house. Margaret had set up a scholarship fundraiser for the women in the automotive service industry. DH's old boss donated a concert from his bluegrass band! We only paid $5.00 a person and took along some lemonade and our chairs. It was a PERFECT fall afternoon (about 73 degrees with a light breeze) in a lovely country setting. The only downside was that Margaret lives about an hour from us on twisty, narrow roads and we got behind a baler and then a horse trailer! Oh well, we should be used to it by now. I got behind a semi full of corn a couple of days ago and trucks full of chickens go down our main drag every other day or so. Ahhh, rural America...[&:]
