had to copy the idea....a lot of people don't get to kentucky very much...and some of the stereotypes are true and some are not...here's a list i came up with

no matter how much you think you talk normally, when you head up North they all think you talk like a redneck

The best restaurant in town is the Cracker Barrel

No matter how bad UK's basketball team is, you still belive they'll pull it off and make it to the Final 4

Biscuits and gravy is your favorite breakfast

Wakin' up with racoons and squirrels on your back porch is not an uncommon thing

You own at least 10 country cd's

In the summer you don't wear shoes

Your church parking lot is filled with pickups

You actually know who Toby Keith, Brooks& Dunn, Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, and George Straight are.

A carbonated soft drink is a pop, regardless of brand or flavor.

Derby weekend is bigger than the academy awards.

The KFC mueseum in Corbin is a national monument.

Billy, heh... I live in Indiana, Bloomington in fact. Kentucky is where the family trees don't have branches.

No offense thirdday.

I grew up in NY, outside NYC, and after summer trips back here to visit relatives, my friends back east would make fun of my "accent". [

That's pretty cute. I saw a shirt at Old kentucky chocolates kind of like this...it was hilarious! Despite what people say, it's still my favorite state

Kentucky is an awesome state. My mother was born in London. The Lexington area is my favorite part of the state, although I think it takes a whole bunch of money to play there.
