Update on Max!!

I posted a while back that my fiance's dog was completely ignoring me and treating me like he was more dominant than me.

Well, I've been working with him and now he completely listens to me (except while on walks, we're still working on that[

]). He now comes when I call him, he stops barking when I tell him shhhh, and he listens to my commands, and actually looks at me when I talk to him.

I am so happy! Things are so much better. Thank you all so much for your help [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]

congratulations! All your hard work is paying off. I'm glad to hear Max is starting to come around!

you know,i think a dog needs to find out whether another person that comes into his persons life is going to make his person happy..(did that make sense to you? lol)

and i belive,that if that dog senses good vibes from his person when your around,and you treat this dog well,then you will be as good a friend as your fiance to him...

i applaud you for doing what it takes to be this dogs friend...your fiance is a lucky person.

I think it has been hard on Max these last few years. Max originally "belonged" to my fiance's mom, but when she passed away he had to learn to bond with him and then soon to follow, me. I'm just so glad that it's working out. [
