    Hey Agile? (More marshall pics)

    ORIGINAL: agilebasenji

Who is Marshall?  Did I miss something?  Is he a total handfull?  If so, he may be part badsenji.  He looks a bit like my tri-ing, especially under that blankie.

Marshall is the newest member of the nuthouse! We pulled him from a "rescue" about 2ish weeks ago. He was being kept segregated from the pack of other little dogs (inside an abandoned single wide) because they kept attacking him...
He *IS* a handful! They told us he was Chihuahua/Rat Terrier cross... I have wondered if there wasn't a little something else in there! HE is tiny though. weighing in around 11.5 pounds! His temperment is HIGH ENERGY, independant, snuggly some of the time though. (That is so far because we've only had him 2 weeks!) Anyways here are more pics of him!

Ah, the ratties look a lot like basenjis in their head structure.  I have a friend with several.  She told me that somewhere they used basenjis in the development of the ratties.  They're great little dogs.  Her dogs seem a little less independent than my badsenjis.  How old is M?  Is he a keeper?  Looks like he'll be a great little agility dog for you.  [sm=wink3.gif]

He is about 3 years old according to the vet. And yes he is a keeper! We are thinking about agility after this first basic obedience class... the only problem we have is that we already HAVE two dogs in agility classes (Bennett and Felice) Two dogs in obedience(Bennett and Bruno) and one dog (Felice in Rally) So If we can get him in the next one I will be at the training center 5 days a week for 2 hours a day... [sm=uhoh.gif] I'm hoping no one will notice!
