    Some pictures of my dogs.....

Well I have three dogs, so here they go.....

This is Paco, he is a stray we found in the woods about 4 years ago. He is about 4 years and a few months old now and is a great dog. When we found him he was really really scared of people, he wouldn't even let them pet him. He is really good now and has turned out to be a great dog/companion.

This is another of our dogs, Girlfriend. She is some type of sheltie mix because she is too small to be a full breed sheltie. She is a big time little girl. She is our only inside dog and she is a very high energy dog. She is really really spoiled and has been like that ever since we got her. I got her at like 6 weeks old and now she is like 16 weeks old. She is about to start getting some training in her so she should be a very good dog. This week I taught her to sit as you can see in the pictures.....

This is Zarrah. I just got this girl a few weeks ago to keep Paco company outside. She is also like 14-16 weeks and is probably a pitbull/labrador mix or something. She was also kind of spooked of people but she is breaking out of it very well so far. My brother is starting to traing her little by little as well. She is an outside dog and very lazy! Haha. All she does is lay out in the yard and suntan all day long. Her and Girlfriend get along very well though, they are always fighting each other (play fighting) and it is real cool to watch.

I used to have neighbors who had four Shelties.  They were all purebred and the youngest was only about twelve pounds when fully grown.  It's possible that you MAY have a purebred Sheltie there. Let's see what she looks like when she's all grown up and one of us will be able to tell you--or at least make an educated guess.

Your dogs are ALL REALLY CUTE. welcome to i-dog [:D] Can i ask you something though....how come only one of your dogs is allowed inside? Don't your other dogs feel left out? Why dont you spoil them all?

They  are beautiful and I have to ditto Hayley's question??

They sure are lovely.  But I too have to ditto the question...why have a dog if it has to live outside?

I've got six german shepherds and four cats living in my house.....the humans are greatly outnumbered!

If anything Girldfriend is jealous of them because she is inside. But there is kind of a combination of things which makes Paco and Zarrah outside and Girlfriend inside but here it goes.

We have had Paco the longest and he has always been an outside dog. That is just how we have had all of our dogs in the past. We live out on some property and right next to a wooded area so they love to be out running around and chasing deer and all that other good stuff. Well we used to have another dog, Lacy who was half chow half German Shepard. About 4 months ago she died after a good 14 years with us. So Paco was all alone and needed a friend. I went to my local shelter to get another dog and i got Girlfriend. After a few days of having her we realized she was going to be very small and probably wouldn't fare well outside with all the stuff that Paco does. He is an explorer out there and I dont want to see a 7lb dog out there potentially getting herself hurt.

Well after I got Girlfriend Paco was still all alone so I went and got Zarrah to keep him company out there. Now Zarrah is little so she comes in a whole lot and Paco comes in and chills for 30 minutes at a time sometimes. But most of the time Paco and Zarrah jsut love being outside. If we put them inside they are crying at the door to get back out. They love it out there. Like I said earlier, Girlfriend loves it out there too and during the day she is usually crying to go out and so she is usually outside with them for a little while. But then they all get tired and lay out on the grass to go to sleep. But I think Girlfriend thinks she is too high class to sleep out on grass so she scratches on the door to come in and take a nap on my bed. Haha. When she wakes up she goes back outside with them. Then Girlfriend sleeps inside at night while Paco and Zarrah protect the house.

So they are not really jealous like I said, they love it out there. I will take some pictures of our land and show you how much they have to explore and have fun in.
