    Babies everywhere!

Well, anyone who has ever done wildlife rehab can relate to "spring baby season".

Here are a few shots of some of this seasons babies.

They are so cute.  While tonight i was walking my dane in the backyard i heard what i thought was a cat but then look up in a tree and see a baby owl.  It was shocking but cute at the same time.

Thanks everyone! I really love my "fosters" but it is hard to let them go. I always worry and wonder if they are alright and growing up.

I still see one of my fawns from time to time and my squirrels in the woods behind my house (at least I think they are "my" squirrels).

My little mocking bird (Einstein) will be ready to "Fly the coop" very soon and the bunnies, always so little when they are released (you wouldn't think they couldn't survive on their own), should be release in the next week or so. I usually release them in a large enclosure, that is then opened up in the late fall. The enclosure is completely wild with supplemental food (at a feeding station). This gets them started well in life and keep them somewhat protected (but there are still hawks, owls, and other predators out there).

    What cute babies!

I had two robins that I took care of until they were ready to fly. Only one made it though the other one died in his sleep I will always miss little Andrew.
