• kennel_keeper Posted : 5/31/2006 7:09:35 PM Thanks everyone! I really love my "fosters" but it is hard to let them go. I always worry and wonder if they are alright and growing up.   I still see one of my fawns from time to time and my squirrels in the woods behind my house (at least I think they are "my" squirrels).   My little mocking bird (Einstein) will be ready to "Fly the coop" very soon and the bunnies, always so little when they are released (you wouldn't think they couldn't survive on their own), should be release in the next week or so. I usually release them in a large enclosure, that is then opened up in the late fall. The enclosure is completely wild with supplemental food (at a feeding station).
