I want to say Jen and her DH were so incredibly fun!  I had the best time hanging out with them, I couldn't believe how fast the day went.  Not only were they so very nice but also an absolute hoot and generous. ... I'll be even more proactive next time, lunch is on ME!  [] I *LOVE* the coffee, btw, thank you so much!

Nikki gets all the airtime, as she's not nearly as fearful of being caught on film as Missy, but she gets all the love.  She LOVED Jen and her DH, I think she would jumped at the opportunity to go home with her.  I practically had to pry her off Jen!

Ah - contraire we noticed you and Roscoe were missing, someone asked where you were in a thread on NDR, I let (I think it was Blue's mom?) her know you'd be back soon.

Roscoe and Scout went to "camp" -- Roscoe to a doggie camp where he played from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. (by which time he could barely keep his eyes open).  He hunted (and ate) gophers, squirrels, and mice and made new friends with a pug/beagle and a lab.  It's a very cool boarding place where the woman basically lets the dogs have run of her house and 5 acres of yard to play in.  And at night everyone goes to bed however they're comfortable - on the sofa, in the crate, in her bedroom!   Despite all the playing and running around, he gained five pounds when he already had 5 he needed to lose! He's a sausage! LOL! 
 
Scout went to "the Cat's Nest", which is a small facility that only takes 5 cats at a time. Every cat gets a private room (about the size of a 1/2 bath) with cat tree, bed, litter box, and toys.  Then they get to rotate in the playroom with the owner. The playroom has TONS of climbing, scratching, chasing, and sleeping areas.  Apparently Scout decided that *she* was the queen of the nest and *she* was going to get to spend the most time in the playroom. LOL! Of course.  I picked her up this morning and she came home with a scrapbook of her stay! The owner adored her and said she'd never known a cat with so much character.

Wow - those photos are beautiful.  The colors are so vivid - water, sky, landscape.  My employers are in Hawaii right now - boy, with sights like that, they may never return to the office!!  Sounds like you all had a great time.
