When I first got Boss he would just lay on his side and let me trim his nails, now his eyes get big as saucers and he runs like the wind. • cindy w. Posted : 4/13/2006 8:52:50 PM I got so lucky with her, it certainly wasnt my dog expertise as I have none. I was told to get her use to having her nails done and being brushed etc. I was just soooo. lucky that she seems to enjoy having them done, I have always done them the vet never has, and I do it once a week, just taking off a little.   Her little nails are white which makes it so much easier to see the "qiuck".   She goes to sleep quite a bit....lol................
