    Cassidy

I just wanted to share some pictures of my last dog Cassidy, a husky/malamute mix.
Everytime I see pictures of Miya on here, they remind me of her.

Awwwww, what a sweetpea!  She looks so sweet & gentle?  I love the shot of Cassidy using the kittie as a pillow.

Thanks. She is the sweetest dog I've ever met. I adopted her when she was 6, and I always had roommates until this year, so she was never alone. Unfortunately, I didn't realize she had extreme separation anxiety until this year. My landlord kicked her out because she howled all day. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. She is with my father's best friends now, since the wife is a stay at home mom. They adore her, but I am still sorry all the time for not being able to work things out to keep her. At least I know where she is and if they ever can't keep her, I will take her back.

Awww the picture of her and the cat are adorable. We had the same type of situation happen with one of our dogs, Lacey, we had to give her away, and we have NEVER given a dog away but this was a situation where we had no choice. We kept in close contact with Lacey's new owners, they had for 3 years, until they decided they didn't want her because the husband said it was either Lacey or him ...arrr.. so now we have Lacey back.

yeah, it was a sad situation.
I secretly hope that they don't want her anymore in a year and a half when I am done with law school and able to live in my own home.  I don't REALLY because I know that she deserves stability, but I would really like to have her back. I will never love another dog as much as her.

Yes, I know what you mean, the owners Lacey had ended up not giving her the love and attention she deserved, and I am happy they realized that, because about a month after we got her back she developed a neurological disease, that we still do not know what is it. But causes her to limp and walk sort of unstably, so thank god we have her back, because I doubt they would have even taken her to the vet.
At least you know that she is loved and cared for either way
