Pics of our Golden Retrievers..Rebel and Abbey

I have posted pics of Rebel here before(the light gold male retriever)but never Abbey,(the dark golden female).

A bit of history.

Rebel was given to me before he was a year old in 1989.For a few years it Was just Rebel and Me living in my house and we did everything together ,everyday,and bonded like i have never bonded with a pup.

Anyway,in 92,i met my soon to be wife,and in 93,we found Abbey,who needed a home.She was 3 years old when we brought her home and she and Rebel became very close...As you will soon see..

Any way,here are some pics of our family in the early ninetees.

Yes,we had a litter of puppies,and found great homes for each of them(all 10 of them,and we kept one for about 8 months till we could find him a good home..we named him Wolfie(go figure).

After vet bills and spay neuter refunds we made no or very little money...Looking back i realize how much we didnt know,though we did do research into both dogs medical and AKC history...

Anyway.I had a dream i was playing with these guys last night...Hope i get to see them again sometime..

Awwwww! How beautiful they all were! As puppies, they seem to favor Rebel's coloring more...I wonder if that changed at all!? LOVE that last picture - adorable.

Most of them favored Rebel in stature and color...we kept track of most of the dogs for a few years.
We havnt heard from anyone just lately,but last we knew,they were all fine,but reaching old age...

Those photos are adorable... what a happy little family [

]. The last pic is especially cute.... it would be hard for me to give away the puppies (just look at those faces!). It's cool that you kept up with them after all these years. Hope they're all healthy and happy still!
