Pics of Nikki the Shih Tzu

Though she may not actually be my dog (she's my Mom's), I did live with her for 10 years before moving.  Nikki is about 11 or 12 now, she was adopted from a shelter when she was about 6 months.  She's still as spunky as ever though!  These pictures are from her visit from MA up to VT to our apartment.

Here she is just resting....a minute ago she was rolling around on the carpet :)

She was playing but as soon as I got out the camera she flopped down and looked my way, the little stinker!

By far her favorite, Nikki lives for belly rubs.  Unfortunately now she has several fatty tumors along her stomach (non cancerous thank goodness) that make it...well...quite a lumpy experience to rub her belly.  That's ok we do it anyway!  That's part of my leg in the picture, we were snuggling on the couch.

Whatta sweetie!  We had an old girl who got a little lumpy in her later years - lumpy, but no less lovable!

Give Nikki a belly rub from me!

We worry alot about the fatty tumor on her inside thigh.  It's not interferring with her movement, yet, but it's gotten bigger.  None of us, including the vet, want to have to get it surgically removed, but any bigger and that may have to happen.  Poor lumpy girl, but she's a happy one.  She adopted us really.  She was trouble lol from day one, when she ran around her new home, giving us kisses, and then settling nicely (with a sigh) on the couch [:D]

I give her a belly rub the next time she comes up for a visit!  I miss having the snugglebum around.  Although, you gotta be careful when she starts playing with her toys.  She's been known to let them go flying and for some reason they always seem to hit me!  She acts all innocent, but I have my doubts lol.

She sure does look like she's full of spunk! I bet she's a little sassypants. [:)] Love those brows.
