Bailey, our Golden (lots of pics!)

Well, I have learned quickly that there are lots of "Bailey's" on this board, well owners of Bailey's anyways, but I thought I would take part in the bragging via pictures!!

He is a 3 1/2 male Golden Retriever, loved to bits, spoiled rotten.

Enjoy...! -Some are older, some from as early as last week, though all cute.

Towel destruction after being dried off

Waiting to dive under for more rocks...

    Getting a good shake on...

Wondering why he has sunglasses on...

The only time the teeth come, playtime!!! So mean looking, yet couldn't close his jaw on anything, that wouldn't be polite!

    Back to Mr. Nice Dog

...puppy dog eyes at their best

    Puppy picture!

...will do anything for a cookie (his dad is in the background, lives two doors down, good playmate!)

More of his favourite thing to do, this time in the middle of the lake off the boat!

...and his 2nd favourite thing to do! Car/truck rides!!

Beautiful dog!  Great pictures.  He wouldn't be al Little spoiled would he?hehe[:D]

He is gorgeous AND he reminds me so much of my Cubby who passed 2/5/05.  Without being critical, please rethink allowing him to ride in the open bed of a pick up.  I am a police officer and unfortunately have responded to "property" damage accidents where the dog has been thrown from the bed and killed....so easily avoided.  It's not your driving, it's the people around you.
Cubby used to give me his best "mean face" and could never quite pull it off. I did try not to humiliate him by not laughing (that he could see)!  haha!

    Hey!

Thanks for the response, I am hoping some day to become a police officer. He doesn't get to ride in the back anymore as it's too hard on him to get himself into the back, poor hips at 3 1/2. He only went to the coffee shop to get his treats or to the creek, but agreed it generally won't be our driving, but idiots around us!

...he is outfront sun tanning right now with me as I study and he's loving it, such a nice August afternoon!

Bailey is such a great looking dog! He's really handsome--I just love his coat. It's a good thing you spoil him, he looks like he deserves it. [:D]

What a shame that his hips are already causing him trouble at such a young age! Have you tried any gluclosamine/chondrotin supplements?

Who couldn't love that face?  I just want to smoosh it & cover it with kisses.

Welcome to the board.  Your Bailey is gorgeous and your photos are great.  I love the one in the pick up (although I also agree with cubbyrescue about allowing them to ride in there) but he looks so proud of himself sitting there.  I know about that hip thing as we have a collie (Lad) that we rescued with hip dysplasia.  He will be 9 this January and is holding his own for now so hopefully Bailey will be the same.

Bailey is beautiful and all your shots really capture his personality.  You can easily tell he is a fun loving guy!!

    Fun loving boy indeed!

Such a suck, so loyal, and he makes a very good shadow!

Bailey was a backyard breeding so unfortunately stuff like the hip displaysia (sp?) wasn't looked into prior to it all. I know even with that some still get it, but we were lucky to get 9 pups that are 10x better looking then their adorable parents! All pups stayed in the family/or within town, my uncle had the female, neighbour the male, so it was awesome to see them all grow up. Bailey is by far the biggest as he was at 6 weeks and has done nothing but grow ever since!! He is on bufferin to relieve some of the hip stuff as I am sure it doesn't feel too great!

I have about 1000 1/2 pictures of him, he is upstairs playing oh so gently with my grandparents shitz-tzu (sp?) puppy, funny how they know when to be gentle!
